The Dungeon
Seems that we have entered a ghastly dungeon. Who knew a house of this era even had one of these. Quite unusual. The previous owners must have built it into the foundation. It's very cold and humid down here. The only source of heat radiates from a dimly lit corner of the room.

The candle is lit. Has this dungeon been visited recently? Or worse, the thought that something lurks in the shadows, occasionally huddling around the tiny lit flame for heat. |

This arrangement of bones sort of looks like a ladder. I wonder if that was intentional. |
